I have always liked a punt on the football and was never into playin fruit machines but when roulette machines were introduced in the bookies I became immediately hooked. I’ve tried stopping playing them a few times with no success. I generally believe that in the past 3 years I’ve lost over £15000. I’ve decided that today (day 1) I will come in here each day to report my progress in quitting these. I can no longer go to the bookies even to do an ordinary bet as I will go in with a fiver to do a football bet then use debit card to lose around a couple of hundred quid to then walk out with no football bet on!! Madness. I’m not stupid and I know the bookie always win, it’s a computer, etc etc yet still rattle my wages in them. So day 1 almost done and I will be back on tomorrow hopefully.
