What a difference has been those past few days without gambling? I experience life in a new way. I forgive myself easier, I give much more love and I’m able to take a step back from who I am and contemplate what’s right or wrong. I’m scared of not being able to gamble and “win big amounts” aka “lose lots of money”. Because I don’t want to be the guy growing up without enough money to support me and my family. That’s my wrong truth about money and it is why I cannot keep it in at the moment.
Let’s pray for better days and better thinking.

Keep reading and posting here and one day at a time soon adds up.
I would recommend though that you keep a single thread running rather than starting a new one each day. That way any advice you get will all be in the same place and as you move forward in your recovery you will be able to look back on it easily. It helps.
Keep posting and maybe give the groups a try as well.
