Gambling Therapy is part of Gordon Moody, a UK-based charity with more than 50 years’ experience supporting people affected by gambling-related harm.
Founded in 1971, Gordon Moody provides specialist treatment and support for people whose lives have been severely affected by gambling. Our services are designed to help people take back control, build their recovery and rebuild their lives in a safe and supportive environment.
Gordon Moody provides a range of specialist services, including residential treatment, community-based programmes and ongoing recovery support. We also recognise the impact gambling can have on families, friends and loved ones and provide support for those affected by someone else’s gambling.
In 2004, Gordon Moody launched Gambling Therapy to extend support beyond the UK and make help accessible to people wherever they are in the world. Today, Gambling Therapy provides free online practical advice and emotional support to people affected by gambling, connecting individuals with support at the point they need it.
Together, Gordon Moody and Gambling Therapy share a simple purpose: to ensure that people affected by gambling harm can access compassionate, effective support and have the opportunity to move forward with their lives.n
