Bettie, so sorry that you are facing all this with your health, but it will be worth it after you have recovered from the surgery. You have to accept the help that people give you. If the shoe was on the other foot… you would be the first person there to help others… as that is just who you are. I would base your decision on what you would prefer to do. Could you stay with your cousin for a few days then go home for a few days as then it might be easier on you. Do what makes Bettie happy. I would gladly come and help if I lived closer.
