Things are going well for me these days. No thoughts or urges to buy lottery tickets. No gambling dreams of slots either, my first choice of gambling. Things that have helped me stop gambling with regards to slots are banning myself from all the local casinos I live close to. Also, I try to remember how terrible it was when I was gambling, not dwelling just gentle reminders so I do not ever go back there again. As far as the lottery tickets gambling, i take it one day at a time since it was only seven months ago since i last bought them. And for all and any gambling that i can do, i remember the serenity prayer. I also still talk with my sponsor as i have stated before. I find the groups on this site helpful. I still remember the day i found out about this site, it was in itty bitty words at the bottom of a free slot site i used to play at. way down at the bottom of the page. i had to look very hard for it but it was the best thing i ever did.
