So I’m wanting to start this journal today and I hope that everyone will support me. Gambling is more than trying to win money for me – it’s like gambling is my friend and kinda takes the pressures of everything. I work in a remote area and I’m really bored all the time. I enjoy it but I am wasting my life away. I have been gambling since 16. I used fake aged accounts to gamble and I would sometimes spend upwards of £600 A month at a measly age of 16. i started to win and thought this whole gambling thing was great. I got to £775 wanting to get to £800 – within 5 minutes my balance was gone. Because I wanted that extra £25 I lost over £700. At this point I knew there was a problem. That was only at 16. As years have progressed I’ve gambled quite a lot , the odd £20’, £50 but no major deposits. I have had decent wins and withdrawn then. It’s strange because a £100 win is nothing to me now , even a £400 win , I just wouldn’t be satisfied. I have reveresd withdrawn a lot of money in the last 2 years and lost a lot Because of this. Also I can see my stakes are getting higher and higher. 1 £100 bet would not be abnormal to place in my circumstance. I spend roughly £100 a week now and I have to win over £500 to feel any sense of accomplishment. I have a really good job and I really dont Want to go down the real windy road of a gambler. I believe deep down I have a small issue. I have signed Up to GAMSTOP and I can’t access any gambling site in the uk but I have found ones from abroad that i still manage to use and deposit on. I feel like today the 02.12.18 is the day I will stop online gambling as I want a life off my phone. A life with More money. A life with more social activities. i Do have a problem and I’m counting on this site to help me and I know our guys will help. I’m now coming in 20 and don’t want any future job plans to be ruined because of this harsh activity. My mum keeps all my money in her account and she tranfers to me when I need. Does anyone have any tips for me ?

Hi Sloppy
Well done on starting this thread and seeking help .
As you gamble online I would advise that you get a gambling blocker for all your online devices. There are several to choose from such as betfilter or gamban but you could also download a child’s browser for free like k9 and get someone to se the code on your phone .You are taken many steps already – most of us on here are all to familiar with reverse withdrawals .
Keep posting and keep using the support on here – here are groups tomorrow where you will get more advice . -
