Can’t keep off the FOTB’S it’s all about the roulette for me, I don’t know what’s wrong with me feel like such a loser, I’ve got a beautiful wife and 3 kids! I must of lost around 100k in the last 12 years probably more! I want my life back, I went 3 week without gambling a few month ago, now I’m back at it even worse! I’m aiming for a 90 day gamble free period, I will update each day to help my recovery (and hopefully this time no relapses) cheers Pete

Thanks for sharing. It sounds like you are stepping in the right direction. I’ve had a lot of thoughts as to why I am a compulsive gambler and what prompts me to start gambling. Not taking your bank card is great! I’ve recently handed over my banking to my sister, card, online account and I must provide receipts once I have any cash in hand. Supposedly it will get easier. I have yet to find relief but I am hopeful, you should be too!

Hi Pete, well done on your gamble free days.
Also well done on the accountability you have put in place with your sister. How are you filling your gamble free time?
It does get easier. Not so much because of the time since our last bet but more du to how much efort we put into recovery, addressign anything that needs addressing, finding other healthier activities to fill our time etc.
Keep posting.
