leave it all behind, we have turned a new year now, all of us, we can have a wonderful year, at times it will be tough, just be positive, no matter what has happened where there is a will their is a way, you could just give up though but that would be just the easy way out, roll your sleeves up admit your powerless and ask yourself what can i do to make things better, its only us that can make things better , we can be guided and we can be helped but whether we chose to take on board what we have been told is up to us, i certainly have not listened to all good advice given, slowly im trying to be true to myself and really start to take control of my life, it feels great im happy i feel content, its a new year and if this year can be better than last then its progress.
Trust thats something that i will have to earn, with my sporodic pattern of gambling throughout my life, i dont think anyone belives fully that i wont return to the way i did before i canny blame them , all i have to do is concentrate on me and everything else will take care of itself.

im pleased with what i se in the mirror now , i deserve happiness and peace whatever that maybe:)

We all deserve happiness and peace 🙂 Knowing that you haven’t listened to all the good advice you have been given means that there is more you can do to make solid a gamble free life and future. Much better than feeling as though everything had been done. It means you know where you have left perhaps an access to gambling? Or that there is another source of support you could be using? It is a good time of year to take stock of our situation and work on those things that need it. Thanks for the reminder! Happy New Year

Good post Fox. The interesting things about accepting that we are powerless over gambling is that when we do that it gives us the ability to gain so much more power over everything else that we do in our lives.

Seems like you have turned a corner, well done you. Being true to yourself is what it’s all about. Life is hard and knocks you down it’s getting up each time is the hardest part I believe. Something I found hard recently but by the grace of God here I am! Hope you’re well Fox keep fighting xx
