Finding Peace
40 months along recovery highway
to the gambling demons i did not pay
reward for changing my life around
an unkown peace that i have found.
my peace is not just with my in being.
more the love and happiness i am seeing
content as my boy grows with a flourish
a love i have now learned how to nourish
i feel to my friends im in a better place
to help in the problems that they have to face
for me no longer the thrill of the win
to help and understand gives me the biggest grin.
a life of fullfilling, happy times
replaced the thieving gambling crimes.
no inner hatred or self loathing
