Secrets used to be your Christmas present
Secrets used to be a surprise birthday party
Secrets used to be exhilarating
Secrets became trips to the casino
Secrets became payday loans taken to cover losses
Secrets became what I had done with my pay
Secrets became loans taken to gamble between pays
Secrets became what I was doing on my phone at all hours of the night
Secrets became exhausting and shameful
There are no more secrets
It is no longer exhausting but it is unbelievably exhilarating to have
No more secrets from you.
