Hi All,
Vera Vera, what has become (anyone else listen to the ‘wall’ album?)
Middle March worst time for me before gave up so looking for a bit of support. Cheltenham always a major issue and all publicity now not great. Finances being sorted so a small bet watching telly wouldn’t do any harm – would it?
Cheltenham is so exciting!!
Colin – I would say you enjoyed the festival, how did you get through the time?
No dosh to bet – wife still restricting even after all this time, asked for increase and she said no probs buying what I want but she would be with me and pay for it (does she know or what?)
Still want to gamble (just one bet would be OK) after all these months but have no cash – a way of life for me now.
Have a great life with family and spend loads of time with them and have been promoted because of new ‘focus’ but still want the rush (happens randomly) have not because of ‘barriers’.
I truefully think that I would be worse now if I had opportunity and destroy everything that we have survived (just about).
Anyone know me before – whiskey is now not a problem because fed up with it – just a substitute for the real thing!!
Of course the ‘real thing’ being making three children homeless, sitting a cold dark (not mine) house and trying to explain why there were no christmas presents for the children.
Seriously – anyone need a break from life. I have a ‘granny flat’ on the side of our house that is basic but available in West of Ireland and if you are interested for a week away (20 miles from Shannon Airport) you are welcome. Don’t think we are rich etc – I gambled for 27 years and if anyone said mate ‘you dropped half a million’ I would not disagree (and some) and we nearly lost the house and I would have no credit what so ever and still haved debts higher than our combined income, but I am lucky in that my wife just about kept our house and in the last year we have renovated with family support and have a built on flat and you can visit at no cost for the flat. If you want to know where we are – we are where Father Ted was filmed (not on any Island) and about 10 miles from Doolin and Cliffs of Moher (maybe none Irish should look it up). That would be County Clare in Ireland.
Why not? Just message me with details,
If you know about chickens then you are more than welcome!! (10 and only 3 eggs a day!! – this board is crap when it comes to chickens I have asked for help loads of times – surely chichen rearing and gambling can not be mutually exclusive?
Stay strong if you are not doing it and if you are, then it is better not (truefully),
Regards
Sulls
Stay gable free and it will get better
Thoughts are with all of you
