Hi everyone: I’m back (not new, Harry!!). Many of you will remember me as RG, but I’ve decided to go with Bright Star for many reasons, not the least of it snoopy stalkers. The name sounds promising and happy, and that’s what I’m aiming for. I had typed a long story but lost it all, so for now, I’m just going to say hi to my friends. I’ve been following your progress but wasn’t ready to re-start my recovery process. I finished up my last “session” last night. Not devastating, as in big financial losses, but certainly devastating to my soul, my self-esteem, my health. I have done everything, and I mean ALL measures to control my gambling, (except “mental banning” Larry … still trying to wrap my head around that one). It’s all down to the fact that I have to want a better life badly enough, and I’m there (I think). So for now, just a quick hello and looking forward to chatting to all of you again.
