So good to see your post and read you are ok and you are not gambling. That is wonderful.. Its either people come back after a time and say they relapsed or they come back and say they have just been getting on with life and i am so glad yours was the latter. Glad you are back and living the gamble free life, it gives me hope.

I chose not to gamble today, no matter what. No matter what happens in my life today, it doesnt justify me gambling when i am fully aware of what follows.

Well you certainly dont do things in small doses.. from being a marrow donor and now helping build houses for the poor… what massive things you are taking on to help others.
So good you are not gambling and finding some things that you really want to do and are passionate about

Wow i just loved that last post of yours Lizbeth. You are so strong, you have an amazing attitude to life. It is amazing sometimes the big and hardest things in our life end up being our greatest teachers, for me i learn so much through pain.. I can’t say how much i respect your attitude Lizbeth it is wonderful to see. Your hubby will be looking down on you smiling at your progress i am sure, he would want you to be happy. I know some days will be hard but you are doing your all to have a good attitude and i love how you are getting along with your mum better too and your closeness to family. they are lucky to have you you know. You sound so positive, I am so happy to see your post and congratulations on being gamble free for 3 months, that is wonderful. it is amazing isn’t it when we are out of the addictive phase and look back and it is really unfathomable i find. So glad you returned after the slip to post about it, i think that is a great sign. Just start over.. its done and gone and look at how to prevent it more now.. can you put up any more barriers, can you get to GA meetings or counselling or post more.
Do what you can and learn from the slip. My relapses were never slips but i learnt from each one, pain was my greatest teacher.
