Keep hanging in there and get busy.. as soon as you get thoughts of gambling start doing something else, distract yourself and in a while the urges will be gone.. the good thing is urges always fade if we give them time.. i know how hard it is.. hang in there

Wow yes you have been through a lot with that sister yet you were the one to call to set things right, that is strength.. family can be difficult as i know too. There are many different personalities and hidden agendas sometimes. I know you are a genuine caring person Lizbeth it shines through in every one of your posts and i think its wonderful that you took the first step. It seems you are always there to help everyone.. i hope they offer the same help to you too

I think you are a brave and courageous person. I really admire you. You always seem to find the best in life and the best in people. What a lovely way to be. I think you have this life in perspective by the sounds of it. Re connecting with your sister was a brave move too.. family can be quite a challenge in that way and it is often hard to mend things, you just build a bridge and get over it, i love it.. you are doing so well in this recovery

It doesn’t matter what other poeple think you made the choice you felt was right at the time and really i would be the same.. if a friend was being cheated on i would be so full of guilt if i didnt tell them.. even if it meant losing their friendship i would rather tell the truth in that situation because i would hate that to be the last one to know

How you going.. just wanted to come say hi and see how things are.. i hope you are going ok and we all understand the madness.. its taken me many years and im only few weeks in now but i feel that surrender… its not easy we all find it different ways and different times.. when we are sick and tired and had enough. Its really hard to figure out and i will never figure it out… its the strangest thing this addiction isnt it, how it takes over, its like being someone possessed.. i just hope you are doing well today and if not there is a new day to start fresh and give it a go… its never too late.

Carole wow, you are doing so much again, getting into all these things.. there is always something you are doing.. thats great that you want to do volunteer things and you are trying new things and finding your creative side.. why not. Sure beats sitting there feeding dollars into a machine.. there is a lot to try in life isnt there. Everyone is different so finding different things for us all is just like an adventure really.. i hope you really find enjoyment in the the things you choose. If not try something else. It amazes me the different things and projects that go on in your life.. my mind is in a whir just reading about them sometimes.. well done.

i hope that all goes well with the job hunting.. Im glad you are not working somewhere with a boss like that.. its so much nicer if work is a nice environment..
Well its getting chilly isnt it.. not compared to what winter would feel like to a lot here but im sitting here in an enormous dressing gown and big thick socks.. with a hot coffee.. think its 14degrees celcius but thats freezing to me..

Hey sounds like things are very hectic right now.. wow. Hope things settle for you soon you always sound so busy.
I know you will miss your daughter, she will keep in touch all the time no doubt but will be hard i understand that..
My cat is sitting here blinking at me with pupils the size of saucers.. she is so funny..
Look at your wonderful recovery and how far you have come, dont forget to acknowledge that..
