Do you know what, i know you are seeing you in a negative light but i see it as so positive, do you know why? because you are here.. not there gambling.. its day 2 for you, its better than day 1 its better than being out there, keep on trying just keep on getting back up.. I’ve done the falling off the wagon and getting back on for five years, the ones who dont get back up stay out there and you are here.. so congrats on posting again, contrats on day 2 because i know how much of an accomplishment that is after a binge.. post more, chat more, just keep going

I think someone mentioned to you, cant you get the rent from her BEFORE she goes to the casino.. maybe make that a rule of living there. Its pretty fair, if she chooses to gamble fine, not much you can do about that but she can give you the rent first. I admire you having here there. I can see no way i would survive in recovery living with someone who gambles. You are doing really well and its always a pleasure to see you in chat. Hoep to see more of you

Well done on your progress with gordon moody… thats great. you are here trying to better your way of living which is great.
You will get feedback here just keep posting, we are all at different times of the day and night and all over the globe but we are all here for the same reason. To have a life without gambling. Keep reading and posting, maybe try the chat lines and the advisors.. just for today dont gamble.. dont worry about yesterday or tomorrow, just get through one day at a timeP
Sorry to hear you gambled.. but well done on coming and being honest. I had many many times when i had no explanation as to why i turned into a casino when i had not the slightest intention.. sometimes i would feel so strong and in an hour i was somewhere gambling so i dont get complacent for a second knowing this addiction will pounce every single chance it gets.
Maybe you could post a bit more. It seems most times people are away from here or their GA meetings or whatever support they use its more likely to relapse.
How are those kitty cats anyway Carole.. are they enjoying it at their new home? I hope so..
Carole just start again.. start your time again gamble free and dont discount the days you had gamble free.. just do your best to not gamble today.. i hate to sound like an expert but i guess i am. I am an expert compulsive gambler who has relapsed for five years.. hahhahah.. would qualify with a great degree i would..P

I hear loud and clear in your posts its just for today and that you know exactly what happens if you place one dollar in a machine.. i think like me you totally get that it is never just once.. it goes on to so much more than that.. well done Cat.. keep posting!!

Hey there busy lady.. you are amazing at the pace you go… i cannot keep up. I really really am astounded at all you do. I hope that family of yours absolutely appreciate you Lizbeth as you so deserve it. I want to hear next time that they are doing something nice for you!!! Wow go have a rest, its a lot of work all that unpacking. Im tired just reading your post hahahaa.

So good to see you are doing so many things in your life these days and no gambling.. well done. How are your cats enjoying your place in the country. I guess it was a change for them after being in the flat in the city. They probably love it i am guessing.
Good the wedding was wonderful and its great to see a post from you again. Im here having my morning cuppa of course. Reading some posts before work..P
I was so pleased to see you posting here again i have really missed you! I am so happy to hear your results were all good and that you are still gamble free and getting on with life..

Congratulations Bettie on the anniversary of crossing the line.. be proud of yourself for your recovery you have really done such an amazing job with few relapses to date.. you must be two or so years clean now? well done and keep on keeping on.. hope to see you again some days in the chat..

With regards to the groups here for chat.. what i find is there is no join sign either sometimes in the timetable.. you need to be logged in.. then what i do is click on helpline and you scroll to the bottom of the page of helpline and it shows what groups are on at the moment.. if that makes sense..
