Hey well done on the blocker for your computer, if you can exclude from places then do so now so that it doesnt get the chance to take hold when you get urges..
It is good that you post here your feelings. Have you tried the chat groups here they are a lot of help and its good to connect up with people from all over the world going through the same thing.. well done.. a day at a time

Use all the support you can against this addiction.. if what you are doing doesnt work then add some other level of support in.. ga meetings, counselling, talking here, posting, reading, chatting one on one on the helpline.. delay those urges, when you get them start instantly focusing on something else, dont sit there letting them build up.. distract, and delay delay delay those urges, put them off for an hour at a time.. they will disappear.. if you give them time.. all the best, keep posting. well done for expressing whats happening.. might see you soon in chat

I hope that your day is going ok.. are you aware that there are groups here you can come to chat in, they are a wonderful support sometimes and there is one on one advisors too..
Do you have GA meetings in your area, or counselling.. grabbing on to as much support as possible is really helpful in this addiction because it gets pretty strong at times..
Its nice your family is with you on this.. hope to see more of your posts.. and just for this day dont gamble

A good thing to do when you are struggling is get to a meeting, or go on the chat here, talk to someone.. write a list of all the things you want to do.. no matter how small or far fetched they sound.. maybe get busy with things when you are feeling bad i find it helps me to distract my mind from thinking thinking thinking..
if your job is really stressful is there any way of changing it..
well done on posting your thoughts.. you are never alone there are people here who will reply or chat.. what about the one on one line here, it really helps to sometimes get others opinions. Hope things turn around for you soon

    Hi there Lorraine

I am so sorry for not posting here but i used to always look for you on the other chat sites, gamtalk and safe harbor.. I hope that you are doing ok.. sometimes i think when people disappear that they do not want to be bothered by anyone.. i am like that when i go away. I am so glad to see you posting. I know the struggle and you know i know because for years we would see each other in chat and i would be there relapsing and sometimes you would help me in chat.. i hope that you grab onto the support now and what you did was good you reached out and said how you feel, its hard for everyone with this addiction or we wouldnt be here.. i hope to see you maybe in the groups soon for a chat that would be great i used to love seeing you there..
I am going ok today but there were many years i wasnt.. i thought it not possible for me i relapsed for six years of being here.. finally somethings clicked but it took that long of trying to stop.. and perservering
So glad you have banned again and i know its always a challenge for you when the rebanning comes up, i know of the challenges living with people who gamble and your situation with hubby.. you are strong Lorraine to have got through all this.. i think you are amazing. I hope to see you soon.. i have really missed our conversations.. i still look out for you hoping to see you pop into one of the chats..

Well done.. that is wonderful.. finding other things to fill your time is good too. Hobbies, anything away from the computer games etc.. you can do this SJ at first its hard to break the habit but it can be done.. you’ve done it with land based casinos you can do it with this too.. one day at a time.. 🙂

Well congrats on your gamble free time and keep up the effort, learning from your last slip as to what you didnt have in place that could have possibly avoided it is a good one to look at, is there anything else you could have done to protect you and your money. You are really going well lately and you should be proud of you its a really crazy addiction we face, but it can be done.. just dont gamble for this day just today..
