Keep posting your thoughts it’s freeing to write all you feel, there are chat groups here you can join. Make a plan for your day, if you get urges delay them. Put them off, don’t gamble just for this day, this hour.. I find distraction good with urges get busy straight away so urges have less chance to build. Write about why you don’t want to gamble, what brought you here. Think of new things to add in to your life. Keep going just for today.. And no matter what. If you fall get back up and continue on but look at what can prevent you falling before it happens. Are there GA meetings you could attend. Counselling? Whatever works for you, hang on to it

Ell done on your savings, just be careful you don’t save those savings for a gambling binge, it’s quite common. So long as you are prepared . You are doing well now gamble free keep up the support, it’s good you are posting. Have a great gamble free one and congrats on finding recovery today..

Im sorry that you are gambling but i am so happy that you posted again and that you were honest and can tell the truth here.. dont worry about what people think Bettie, remember that saying, what other people think of me is none of my business.. In addiction sometimes relapse happens, GA is a place you can go back to and say you relapsed. Not everyone gets clean from day one and stays that way. If you cant go back there and say that where do you go.. just go back and tell them. You can do this Bettie you were gamble free for years, you know you can do it again.. it sounds like similar to here, with slots in most pubs and there are a lot of pubs here. We are all not far away from that next bet, just start doing what it takes to get gamble free again, when you are ready, it will happen.. trying to find that acceptance again just for today…
So glad to see you here again i have missed you.. im very selfish arent i.. i want everyone here, and i hound people when they go away yet ive done it time and time again myself..

What i love about your post is you posted all these thoughts yet you did not gamble.. you posted what you were thinking, what could have happened, but at the end of the day Kin you are still gamble free, that is wonderful.. i love how you explain it… keep going Kin and do what works for you.

Thanks for writing those thats wonderful.. i love hearing those sort of sayings because they stick with me and i find myself thinking of them at all different times and i think how good to think of those positive little sayings as opposed to all the negative ones..
