Hang in there Lorraine, there are so many challenges in life but you are getting through. Not gambling, and challenged, that is strength. Things will settle it will take time.. something else will come up
P

P
pParticipantSounds like you have really learnt a lot so far on your journey. You’re really doing great. You are very supportive to others too. Lots more learning coming your way and sounds like you are going to be a sponge and soak it all in. Exciting what may lie ahead.
P

P
pParticipantI understand you.. i know that feeling, i get depression to the extreme.. but it changes, it will change for you too, chances are you wont feel like this permanently at some point it can change, get help for it, in counselling, or meds, or joining a group or something, write about it, its ok, you will be ok.. just get support. I understand i really do ive had it my entire life but some periods get better than others.. take care of you and do somethng nice for yourself, go the movies, get your hair done.. take time out for you, a library, a park, something.. you do deserve it
P
pParticipantKeep going.. congrats on your first day.. if you did one day you can do another. Just keep it simple, just for this one day dont gamble. Sounds so easy doesnt it, sounds like i think its easy, remember ive been here for Six years it took me a loooong time to get the fact that i only need do it for today..
P
pParticipantBaby steps my friend, one thing at a time, just breathe.. you are getting your head geared toward recovery again.. sorry to guilt you back but glad i did.. hehe.. i miss you. Its all selfish for me. (ok and i want to know you are ok too.. )

pParticipantI like that, keep the holes sewn up, wonderful to see your money and sanity won’t be falling away now just building toward better things
