The good thing is you are aware of your thinking and not acting on it. Remember what always happens right to the end of a relapse, it’s never pretty. Don’t be jealous of those playing the bandits they are losing their money, more pity them that they are still caught up in it. Stay strong, you are doing good.
P
pParticipantHey how’s things, haven’t seen you round for a while. Hope all good for you
P
pParticipantHi miss, what in the world is going on in your world… Give us an update woman!
PpParticipantHi what a wonderful surprise. I used to love your posts, and I remember you and I started at a similar time, both 2009 however I relapsed many many times and you have gone a long long time now without gambling. Either way we both found our way to recovery I just took a little longer! I loved having you here as part of the journey, would be so good to see you post again. Glad you updated, always nice to hear how people are doing, congrats Larry.
P

Just for today not only not gambling but just for today il handle just the things I need to today. Your gratitude list helps too. Love your little lists
P

P
pParticipantIt’s good to see you getting out to church, you had been talking about it then you put your r words into action!
Gym, church, minding your grandson, your daughters, your mum, have a busy life but it’s good you have resisted the urges and are not gambling!P

P
pParticipantHey Bettie
How’s things? Are you ok Bettie? Have you gone back to your GA group? I hope you are going ok these days and would love to hear from you again. How’s the kitty cat?
P
pParticipantHOw are things going for you AK? Give us an update, if you fall down, try again. Would love to hear how you are going?
P
pParticipantWhat a marvellous accomplishment, not only to yourself but to those around you. No drinking, no drugs, no gambling. You are a new man Mav. So fantastic to read your progress. All those meetings are your medicine , I agree, I see them like that too. If you want to stay well, take the medicine. Well done Maverick, be proud of you!
P
pParticipantHow’s things? I miss chatting to you in group. I hope that all is well for you these days.
P
pParticipantI hope your new home brings you a fresh beginning. We have all made a mess of things with gambling that’s why we are here. The thing you can change is today. The past is gone, the serenity prayer is useful. Sometimes I repeat it over and over and really think about what those words mean.
This is a start, a new place, make it a new gamble free home for a new gamble free life. All the best Lorraine, keep postingP
