Coming off here the support is non-existent 1 week – 3 days and not one reply ?????? it’s bad enough when fellow CG’S can’t reply but a dozen or so supposedly site support makes it even worse !!!!

I didn’t realise it was 2 weeks since i had posted and 11 days since my sister passed away ( the latter seems sometimes to be much longer) My sister died suddenly on friday the 20th of october due to a massive stroke, she was taken to hospital but died several hours later.

What a feeling walking through town today knowing i could not enter any one of the bookmakers . Having breakfast in a cafe with a nice cup of tea all for the princely sum of £6.30, life is good to say the least.

Hi i-di-i ive really enjoyed reading your last two posts their both full of honesty and most of all how you are feeling. It’s another day, day 19 thats all but at the same time a remarkable achievement bearing in mind you are battling an addiction. Today i took my car to the garage, have been for an eye test and had breakfast in town not things i can do if i’m gambling, a couple of days ago i took everything out of a cupboard and cleaned it out . I know it’s not easy but be proud of yourself on getting this far and cathchup on some tv or book that you have been meaning to read it all put’s time in . M.

Funny how things pan out, iv’e been attending a fellowship group most sunday mornings ( unless i’m at work or away) so your Gospel message Isaiah 41:10 was quite a pleasant surprise . Thank you . M.

Hi i-did-it if you feel counselling will help then try it, i did but it didn’t work for me but i tried it. On the home front i’m on day 19 and your on day 17 if it helps were on day 36 between us 🙂 . Keep doing what your doing , keeping focused and posting on here and post what you are feeling . M.

Had to share this just had some time to kill and thought ( got the urge ) to gamble at the bookmakers. DING DONG ” I’m self excluded ” it’s working 🙂 . It also gave me time to think about what the consequences would have been .

The self exlusion is working i am self excluded from 19 bookmakers in and around where i live . Yes i have had thoughts of ” i’ll go to the bookies” when the opportunity has arisen but then remembered i’m self excluded. 🙂 M.
