Very glad to see that you have continued straight on with your recovery. Thats fantastic, i would not have been able to do to that. When i relapsed i did it good and proper and cannot stop once i start and just start the hellish cycle all over again. Good for you Larry you have always been inspirational and still are. I dont look at you any differently because you gambled once. I still see you as Larry with so many years recovery i just know that you tried it again and it didnt work, again.

I was sorry to hear you had a relapse but really i look at how quickly you got back here and you chose not to gamble the morning after when you originally planned it. It is not a competition with who can have the best recovery or get the most time up. We just do the best we can each day and on that day there was something that came undone. You have quickly put it back together now and are moving forward once more. if you think you have had one blip in years of recovery its pretty damn good if you ask me. Your support here has been unending to everyone Larry. Just want you to know that you are supported too no matter what. in any addiction relapse is very likely. If it werent no one would need these places or GA or anything else. Everyone would just stop forever. You have done an amazing amazing job Larry. Never give up on you because you are living recovery.

Like you said it could have gone in a machine but now you have something to enjoy rather than just lost money and not to mention the hangover after. Maybe you are beginning to because walking away from something toxic is a fantastic step in the right direction.
