So I’m not off a gambling binge, went from massive highs to lowest lows in days. I’m stopping now while there is some hope. I get lost in it, it’s pointless me ever gambling because even if I win I’ll end up handing it back before long.

I’ll be posting regular here, my plan is to get rid of access to cards not carry cash and self exclude. I’ve quit for long periods before and I will do it again. I’m going to throw myself into exercise as well and post here as I find documenting my feels and what I’ve done always helps.

I cannot win as I cannot stoo

Well day 1 didn’t go to plan. I took cash to work to pay back a friend, unfortunately the friend wasn’t in work and I passed a bookies with the cash. Needless to say I lost the money plus a little more. Didn’t do any exercise so disappointed.

I’ve come home now put gamble blocks on mine phone and changed credit card setting details to not allow any gambling sites.

I’ll now not carry any of my cards credit card included, I need to be ultra vigilant.

      Day 1 tomorrow again

I am sorry to hear you gambled – however it is positive that instead of chasing you set higher barriers – so well done !

You will get past the difficult first few days – you have done it before .
      Keep strong

Well done on coming here. You have stopped before so can stop again – this time keep posting here and you will be stronger and more able to maintain your recovery. Learn the lesson from today – transfer that money directly to whoever you borrowed it from rather than carry the cash. If that was a bookies you regularly pass then it would be a good one to pop in and get banned from. Don’t have any cash on you when you do. Keep posting.
