I am a compulsive gambler and always will be.  I haven’t been to this group in a very long time.   First time was over a decade ago.   I can’t find story on here.  I use to come to see my old journaling.   My GA birthday is 11/30/08.  I still have dreams of gambling.   I attend GA weekly.   I embezzled from my employer around 1995 and spent time in work release.  I never quit gambling.  I lost everything and didn’t quit.  I just felt like it was my destiny to be a loser and a gambler.  I found this website sometime in 2007 and it really helped me to see I could get out of the casino.  If anyone can help me find my old thread I would appreciate it.   Sometimes it helps to see how you have changed over time.

I think if you type your name into the search all posts which mention you will come up .

Well done on your gamble free time – it’s good to read success stories – I think I remember you – I have been on here rather a long time . I was called ‘sad’ back then until people convinced me to change my name – I’m glad I did !

I tried to put my name in and it didn’t come up.  It may be archived.   I will try again.   This site was instrumental in getting me into recovery together with GA.

Lol Jen ! I’m a bit happier these days .
To be honest Gloria , once or twice I wanted to track my journey , which I thought journals were for and I couldn’t find my old threads either .
