Basically i have always been a gambler wether its horses, football or roulette.

My betting was never out of control until my grandmother left me 8,000 pounds which would pay for me to travel the world and help me live nicely.

After a few days of seeing this massive sum in my bank account i just had to spend it. Within a week or two most of it had gone and i was in utter disbelief and shock in myself as to how i could of blown this much money in shch a short space or time(im only 20 years old)

Somehow i managed to win it all
Back and another 1,400 and i was over the moon and planning what i was going to do with the money once it reached my account again.

Obviously like any other gambler i thought i could turn the leftover 400 into more money amd then take the 7k, sadly this balance kept going down and down till fhere was 0 left.

I have been having sleepless nights and its ruining me and my social life.

I need to beat this drug and move on but i cant bring myslef to tell anyone as they will be devastated.

I really dont know what to do and i feel very lonely and isolated.

      Helpme,

First of all thanks for sharing, I promise you are not alone, you are still so very young and you can turn your life around now before it becomes to late…………I am 39 years old and have gambled since I was about 14 and believe me when I say it only gets worse if you keep heading down the same path………I cant or wont tell you what to do but when people who love you……..trust you look you in the eyes and their eyes speak to you and no lips move………..the eyes talk to me and say how could you have done what you have done I thought you loved me………….
This addiction takes everything if we let it……….its not to late so seek help and keep sharing…..there is always hope.

      Wish you well

      Maverick
