Has anyone been to see a psychologist about their gambling before? I would love to get some insight of what to expect when I go to my appointment on Tuesday. Will they just tell me to go to GA or will they help me themselves?

I’m extremely nervous. I’ve never done any kind of therapy before so have no clue what to expect.

Hi, DaniA, I have gone to a psychologist for my gambling before. They will give you advice on things that you can do to stop gambling, example; GA. Mine dug deeper about the issues causes me to gamble and how to deal with them also. It was very insightful. Just keep a open mind.
