I have a gambling addiction. When I acted on that addiction, when it controlled my life, I had a gambling problem.
Now, I still have a gambling adiction!! However, I don’t act onit . I use the support that allows me not to act on it (In my case GA), It no longer controls my life, which is now full of various non gambling activities. Life and recovery are good
I HAVE a gambling addiction. By taking, and continuing to take, the positive actions that allow me to not gamble it is no longer a problem.
I hope one day I can say something similar.

I was an alcoholic but I did not have any drinking problem this year but I cannot say the same for my eating disorder and gambling.
I was reading the other threads and have this strong feeling today:
Its very easy to give example but its very difficult to become an example.
I really respect the friends I met here who walk the talk, they show me the way and give me hope!
when you stopped with gambling? i also hope that one day can admit same things and feeling and thinking
