hi my name is sam.
i stopped gambling a few months back and thought i had things under control.
infact up until april i hadnt gambled one penny all year.
for some reason on the first of the bank holidays we had in april i decided, at a loose end to pop in a bookies
and played the slots for £1 a spin, i quickly lost over £100 and for some reason decided to try the £2.50 a spin (megaspins) needless to say i quickly lost £250.
for the next three days i went back into 3 other bookies convinced a change of location would make all the difference and lost a further £750.
the £1000 a lost equates to 1 month rent or a holiday.
my point is i now have a simple choice dont gamble at all or gamble big, £1 a spin isnt good enough anymore but dont think gambling £2.50 a spin gives you any greater odds i would suggest it loses money much quicker.
if you have to gamble make it the smallest amounts possible 20p a spin and set a very strict budget.
i cant and so its not worth doing at all.
