      Hello,

I don’t really want to say much about myself incase anyone I know reads this.

I am 22 years old and have been gambling online for around 3 years now. It started of with me putting the occasional £10 deposit in and hoping for the best and admittedly I won quite often and always loved the thrill.

I would say for the past 3 months since I have become a student it has got a lot worse due to me having too much time on my hands. To some people it may be a small amount but I have deposited around £1000 in the last few months. I have had winnings around £290.

My problem is I have started noticing it’s a real problem for me when I presumed it would be easy to stop. I have told my partner everything and she was supportive to helping me stop and believes I have stopped in the past week.

I installed bet blocker on my PC to try to prevent myself gambling aswell as timing out many of my gambling accounts online. For some reason I get bad urges towards night time. I find new sites… I have used my phone to get around the block and also restored my computer removing the block just so I can put more on. I have been depositing £10. But it mounts up when I don’t win and just decide to keep going until it does not occur to me how much I have spent. As I use paypal to deposit the payments do not come out straight away so I never realize how much I have spent till a few days later when I have a negative balance of rediculus amounts of money.

I was just hoping someone could advise me on any blocking systems that can not be removed ? I just don’t seem to be able to stop myself even when I know it’s really bad. I just keep hoping for that jackpot win which will secure me financially.

      Hello anon ,

First of all i am really happy for you , because @ such a young age
You realized you needed help I appretiate you for that . You would think The time and money you lost is really huge but if you ask me 1000’s of ppl in this forum would expect to be in your age and realized they needed help at this stage .

Do remember past is always like a rare view mirror future is like a winshield . By now you know what i meant look what is infront of you not what you passed . . Letting it go is the best thing you could do in your life rather spoiling your amazing future .

Today its only 10$$ but if we dont stop it it will be a-million in few years i am sure because you have an amazing future ahead and you will really make that money if you focus on your career .

I chased 1000$ and gave 100k in 3 years i never realize i make this kind of money untill i lost everything .

If you let go your losses you wouldnt need any blocking systems . Think about this the more you think about your losses to more you relaps . Just let it go brother . Do remember suffering is a gift and very personal once you heal you will have immence strength to make things better in your future .

Dont think you have an addiction or any problem you are just despirate to recoup your losses . Just dont think about them you dont need any systems to block .

      Good luck brother .
