I had a lot of those myself. Lack of money, not being able to afford presents, others expectations, the worries I caused family, me focussing on the sports and gambling opportunited occurring over the hooliday period rather than enjoying time with family etc.
If gambling meant you had a not so good Christmas then remember, it is the actions you take now, the support you start using now, that will determine what next Christmas is like. Don’t take actions, try and do it on your own ( like that has worked before!) and likely next Christmas will also be not so good or even worse.
Oh, and planning to stop at New Year? Making one of those NY resolutions? Well I’d say that is the addiction talking – giving you a reason (excuse) to be able to gamble for the next few days when hey, it’ll find another “reason.”
If you are new to this site and/or struggling then you need to take positive actions, the best time to take positive actions is always NOW. You can stop gambling.
